Sarah

Sarah

Man often gets charmed by the beauty of something that nature created. When I first met Sarah, I didn‘t know how big impact she‘s gonna have on my life. Well, I was impacted more than I could ever plan! Even though it was not necessary to model the whole figure and some details remain unseen, this was more about the process than about the final result. Modelled in Blender and rigged and animated in Maya. This project was different from many others because during creation I felt strong inner propulsion. By the way, she’s got teeth! Main star of animated movie! Did you know that Sarah is main actress in 3D animated movie? Link is at the bottom so that you don’t skip other pictures 😛 Whether we‘ve met by chance or not, one fact remains. Real life Sarah may not realize that, but she exposed me to some of my core beliefs and deepest fears that held me back in so many ways. Because of that I could overcome them and become more of who I truly am. Thank you girl, from the bottom of my heart 🙂 Oh and about that 3D animation I mentioned above – check it out here: Why not to...
Steve

Steve

I created this 3D guy initially for series of tutorials on grafika.cz portal back in 2009. Few years later I decided to upgrade Steve not just because he was supposed to become project FairList‘s main mascot, but also to better reflect my actual knowledge and experience in computer graphics. I added nose for some more character and also repaired topology so that it better deforms when animated. Topology performs now pretty well on face deformations: Here are some renders that were supposed to be used for business cards: Oh and just for fun, here are some tests with various hairstyles: Project FairList is going to have different mascot but this guy will stay with me, that‘s sure 🙂 By the way, here you can watch first animation I made with Steve back in...
X-Wing

X-Wing

Star Wars is a wonderful piece of human imagination and creative spirit. Here is my contribution to it: X-Wing 3D model created in Blender. Since I saw the first movie I was astonished not only by transportation vehicles and overall sophistication of the Star Wars universe, but mainly by the abilities and philosophy of the Jedi Knights. In the end, their movements led me to few years of training b-boying (or breakdance, if you wish) and lasting fondness of acrobatics, parkour and freestyle gymnastics. By making this X-Wing model I expanded my experience in field of inorganic modeling and texturing. Modelled and rigged with Blender, rendered in Cycles. Notice my old logo...
IBCIP visual style

IBCIP visual style

IBCIP stands for International Breakdance Camp in Podivín and it is name of dance weekend camp that takes places twice a year in Podivín. Its main goal is to unite streetdancers, b-boy, b-girls, parkourists and gymnasts among others while generating interesting experience, ahem. So far, last addition to original logo is the word Battle. I did that because of first officially publicly accessible battle. This logo is base for whole visual style of everything that surrounds this event – promotional graphics, video invitations and animations used in IBCIP videos. First IBCIP took place in January 2009 and since then we make documentaries from each one. Then, when next comes up, we have a movie projection and remind ourselves about what was happening last time. We also create a variety of video-invitations each time. After five years we have quite a lot of material so we’ve made a DVD from it: I created initial design in boring class at highschool in my paper notebook. Then I redrawed it on A1 format size (colored with pencils!). After that, I created a 3D version in Blender so that I can make intro animations and finally I vectorized it so that we can print it on...

18Achím

18Achím

Blender 3D animation – a birthday gift for my sister’s 18th birthday and an excuse to animate something after a long time. A brief summary of her life and everyday absurdism. 18Achím is Mícha 18 backwards and Mícha is simply her nickname. Made entirely with Blender 2.5, rendered in Blender Internal. Big thx to Ondra Benes with some rendering assistance...

Attack of the Giant Sperm

Graffiti

Graffiti

My attempts to create graffiti. Time span: 2007-2009. Every piece started with small sketch on paper. Top left (Monča, for Monica) and under that (Bart) were then hand-drawn with graphic tablet. Below that (Zuzi, for Susan) is recreated and rendered in Blender. Top right says “AlkoClub” and is like 2,4 x 1,8 meters big, painted with tempered colors mixed with alcohol. And the last one on bottom right (Týňule, for Christine) was vectorized in Photoshop. I just now realized that I used only yellow color for letters, that’s not much original,...
